2018 Barolo DOCG Cannubi, Piedmont, Italy

Quite firm and deep, a hint of balsamic scent of predominantly red berries with distinct floral aromas, delicate mushrooms and parsley, with air also more black berries and a hint of pepper. Firmly woven, tart and polished, almost cool-looking fruit, nutty, slightly tobacco, peppery and leathery tones, a hint of juniper, quite present, yet rather fine tannin and some bite, lasting, slightly tobacco in the background, cocoa notes, has a certain freshness, very good finish with fine juice and bite.
