2006 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Light toasted notes and a hint of tobacco on the nose, red and a few black berries, some dried flowers, cedary traces, hint of licorice. Ripe, fairly cool, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, toasted nutty oak, fine sandy tannins, persistent,, grippy, elegant acid bite, lively, smoky traces, hint of tobacco, very good elegant, juicy finish. Holding up very well.
