2015 Boca DOC "Vigna Cristiana", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat developed, earthy, nutty, dried mushroomy and light tobacco on the nose, black berries and undergrowth, some cold smoke, cedary notes and tar. Ripe, fairly firm, developed fruit, nutty, leathery and delicately smoky tones, some tobacco and iodine, a hint of cocoa, a hint of coffee grounds and tar, herbal nuances, also salt in the background, fine sandy, very slightly drying tannins, hints of ash and soot on a very good finish.
