1998 Boca DOC Vigna Cristiana, Piedmont, Italy

Translate to English Leicht animalischer, gereifter, etwas pfeffriger Duft nach teils angetrockneten gemischten Beeren, Unterholz, Laub, Gewürzen und Erde. Klare, herbe, recht saftige Frucht im Mund, deutlicher Säurebiss und griffiges, dabei mundwässerndes Tannin, altholzige und leicht schokoladige Würze, Kräuternoten und Mineralik, gute Nachhaltigkeit, etwas Kümmel, sehr guter Abgang. In erfreulicher Verfassung, deutlich besser als die schon etwas gezehrte erste Flasche.

Light-bodied fruit on the palate, very mature, vegetal notes and undergrowth, fine dusty tannins, slightly creamy, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, very slightly brittle on an attractive finish. Past its peak.
