Slightly tomato aroma of predominantly red berries with some root vegetables, laurel, hints of cocoa and floral tones. Straight, rather slender, youthful fruit, delicate tomato and nutty tones, fine tannin and some bite, not very deep and for Barolo rather undercomplex, but cleanly made and easy to drink, citrus nuances in the background, very delicate chilli spiciness, again also cocoa, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: 2024-2029+. What our ratings mean
