2018 Barolo DOCG Serralunga d'Alba, Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat dried-floral and a little ethereal scent of red and hints of black berries with a hint of tomato essence and parsley as well as a touch of tar. Again rather red fruit, nutty aromas and a hint of tar, present, fine sandy tannin, a hint of cocoa on the palate, toasty nuances, dried herbal aromas and salt, some warmth, a hint of smoke, very good, tart, slightly waxy finish.
