2007 Pfeddersheim St. Georgenberg trocken Cuvée "Maximus", Rheinhessen, Germany

Noticeable, spicy wood on the palate, along with dark chocolate and herbs, light earthy berry fruit with notes of inlaid cherries, very slightly dusty tannins, has some power, slightly bitter and also slightly hinting on a good finish.
