Clearly polished scent of more black than red berries with delicately herbal and floral aromas, a touch of bacon and hints of liquorice. Fresh, almost cool, quite juicy fruit, some herbal, smoky and peppery spice, some acidity, youthful, relatively present, yet fine tannin, very slightly ethereal on the palate, good persistence, a hint of liquorice, very good finish with relatively fresh juice and spice.

Best to drink: 2022-2026+. What our ratings mean
