2018 Lazio IGT Cabernet Franc "Ars Magna", Latium, Italy

Firm, very slightly developed aroma of ripe black and red berries with aromas reminiscent of rosemary, slightly waxy ethereal spice and Mediterranean herbs. Ripe, juicy, tightly knitted fruit, some smoky wood and again dark ethereal spice, quite present, yet predominantly friable tannin, persistent on the palate, a little salt in the background, has power, certain depth, still slightly drying in the otherwise very good finish.
