2017 Lazio IGT Cabernet Sauvignon "Ars Magna", Latium, Italy

Firm, tart, very slightly tarry and cedary aroma of ripe black berries with tobacco aromas, a hint of pepper and restrained, smoky wood notes. Dark fruit also in the mouth, more distinct wood than in the nose, toasty as well as cocoa and coffee spicy, present, ripe, youthful tannin, persistent on the palate, has power, certain warmth, tones reminiscent of black olives, very slightly floral, dry herbs, pencil wood and mint in the background, very good, firm finish.
