2017 Lazio IGT Merlot "Ars Magna", Latium, Italy

Firm, tart and undeveloped, a hint of tobacco and animal scent of ripe black berries with a little tomato green and a hint of mint. Clear, polished, firm, juicy fruit, slightly nutty, tobacco and hints of bitter chocolate, a little pepper and juniper, some tomato in the background, fine acidity, youthful, yet quite polished, with air also a little drying tannin, lasting on the palate, still young, does not seem heavy despite its alcohol, very good, tart-juicy finish with bite and tobacco traces.
