2019 Umstadt Brut "Pinot Cuvée", Hessische Bergstrasse, Germany

Yeasty and somewhat vegetal nose with very bright yellow fruity notes, floral nuances and a hint of butter caramel. Somewhat muted, delicately sweet fruit, yeasty, dried-vegetable and a little bacony notes, slightly nutty and smoky on the palate, some persistence, relatively fine perlage, some tannic grip, good to very good, sweet finish, again with some tannic grip and nutty tones.
