2021 Chardonnay trocken "Vinum Nobile", Baden, Germany

Quite firm, somewhat warm, smoky and nutty, clearly woody-spicy aroma of ripe yellow fruit and a hint of wax and mustard seed. Ripe, again a little warm, slightly sweetish fruit with smoky and somewhat roasted wood notes, vegetal notes and mushrooms on the palate, quite lively acidity, some grip, good persistence and substance, a hint of candy, despite its power also has cooling elements, some salt in the background, very good, juicy and spicy, again a hint of sweetish finish.
