Somewhat ethereal-herbal, nutty and slightly bacony nose of predominantly black berries with a hint of pepper and nuances delicately reminiscent of mushrooms and dried flowers. Straightforward, quite dark fruit with delicately sweet melting, fine sandy, quite present tannin, some persistence, lemon zest and salt in the background, has bite, good to very good finish with a hint of Brazil nut.
