Quite firm, tart aroma of ripe black berries with a hint of cherries, hints of pepper, cocoa and coffee as well as herbal nuances and nutty wood tones. Firmly knit, concentrated, tart, smoky and bitter-chocolatey dark fruit, present, predominantly friable, youthful tannin, some smoke, coffee notes, fine acidity, good substance and persistence, still a little smooth contours, relatively long finish with lots of ripe dark fruit and chocolaty wood, herbal notes and some draw. Needs to mature.
