2007 Salice Salentino DOC, Apulia, Italy

Medium-intense nose, fairly concentrated, red berries, coffee, cocoa, menthol and herbs. Firm on the palate but not overbearing, preserved and partly dried forest berries, persistent and clear, herbaceous notes and some spice, cocoa and coffee, integrated, fine-grained tannins, fairly lively and has some substance and character, good to very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2013+. What our ratings mean
