2017 Cuvée, "55", Pfalz, Germany

Fairly firm, tart nose, black berries and cherries, hint of citrus zests, earthy notes, very light hint of bacon. Tart, juicy, dark fruit on the palate, light toasted and sooty traces, hint of tobacco, fine, sandy, youthful, ripe tannins, light acid bite, fairly full-bodied, some persistence, slightlysmooth style, good to very good tart finish.
