trocken Cuvée Rot "Laudanum", Pfalz, Germany

A rather firm scent of ripe blackberries with a hint of tomato paste and a trace of sour cherries, along with floral notes. Bitter dark fruit, slightly smoky and roasted nuances, some bite and a touch of sandy, slightly drying tannins, certain sustainability, very slightly meaty hints, moderate bitterness, not very deep, but carefully made, good finish.
