Chardonnay trocken "Blauer Stein", Württemberg, Germany

Cool, firm, somewhat smoky, nutty and vegetal to ethereal-herbal nose, yellow fruit with a hint of artichoke and light oak notes. Clear fruit with noticeable melting, a hint of dark berries and some nut butter, lively acidity, has some grip and persistence, clear, spicy and slightly vanilla wood notes, salty tones, also some mussel shells, very good, slightly fennel-like and again nutty finish with some wood spice.
