2017 Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Tuscany, Italy

Tart, a touch more open, very slightly tobacco and hints of Mediterranean herbs, predominantly black berries with a hint of iodine. Tart, juicy, dark fruit, nutty aromas, some tar and tobacco, also Mediterranean herbs, some acidity, fine sandy tannin, lasting, has power but also cooling elements, salt in the background, a hint of iron and iodine, slightly bitter, very good, tart, a little earthy and juniper-like finish.
