2017 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly fleshy scent of more black than red berries with dried-vegetable to herbal, distinctly tobacco, a little earthy and juniper notes. Firmly knit, tangy, rather dark fruit, relatively present, youthful tannin, some bite, smoky and a little iodiney notes, peppery-ethereal spice, a hint of meat, good persistence, also has a certain elegance despite all the power, a hint of mint, very good finish, which gains even more juice and polish with air.
