2015 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly developed, nutty, earthy and dried-vegetable to herbal and tobacco aroma of red and black berries with tar notes and chocolate as well as a hint of bacon. Very ripe, partly preserved, plummy fruit with chocolate and coffee spicy wood, present, ripe, fine sandy tannin, persistent and very powerful on the palate, lots of alcohol, peppery nuances, some dried herbs, slightly ethereal, juniper in the background, also salty hints, quite firm, very good, juicy and spicy finish with some bite
