2021 Schwarzriesling trocken "vinitiative", Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat smoky, herbaceous and a hint of bacon flavour of red and black berries with cherry notes and delicate spicy hints. Ripe, warm, somewhat roasted fruit, nutty, smoky and somewhat chocolaty flavours, persistent on the palate, lots of melting, slightly sooty wood tones on the palate, somewhat crumbly-sandy, very slightly drying tannin, hints of coffee grounds, overall rather soft structure, good persistence, very good, spicy finish with ripe, partly preserved juice.
