2020 Mundelsheim Käsberg Syrah trocken "Edition Unicus", Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat nutty, peppery, planty to herbal and hints of animal aromas of mixed berries and a little cherry with nuances reminiscent of cocoa, soot and mustard pickles. Dark, tightly knit fruit with nutty and bitter-chocolatey wood aromas, fine sandy, very slightly drying tannin, toasty and again slightly sooty notes in the background, salty minerality, very good finish.
