2019 Lemberger trocken "Josua", Württemberg, Germany

Firm black berry nose with some sour cherry, smoke and roasted woody-spicy aromas, dried herbs, pepper, hints of paprika powder and grilled vegetables. Tart dark fruit with smoky and slightly roasted wood notes, pepper, herbs and also salt, some acid bite, present, fine sandy tannins, certain persistence, slightly bitter on the palate, nutty tones, a little coffee, good to very good finish.
