Slightly fleshy, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and hints of bacon on the nose, predominantly dark berries and a little cherry with a hint of hibiscus and rosehip. Slender, animatingly juicy fruit with slightly minty flavours, fine sandy, still slightly drying tannins, good persistence, salt and bacon in the background, some nutty wood, a hint of pepper on a very good finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
