Slightly peppery, somewhat vegetal to ethereal-herbal and hints of bacon on the nose, mixed berries with a hint of Amarena cherries and aniseed. Straightforward fruit with nutty wood tones, a hint of ivy and hibiscus, slightly sooty notes in the background, fine sandy tannins, some acid bite, a certain persistence, pepper again and some soot on a good finish.
