2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Selyèt, Alto Adige, Italy

Noticeably mature colour, fawn, almost brown. Preserved mixed berries and some plums on the nose, some tobacco, prominent earthy and mineral notes, hint of coffee, vegetal and herbaceous notes, some oak. Ripe and very juicy on the palate, creamy, slightly jammy fruit, herbaceous notes, light spicy oak, more earthy and mineral notes, touch of coffee in the background, very creamy, noticeable but integrated alcohol, very elegant acid bite, very powerful but maintains a light, airy character, elegant tart spice, has some depth, very good finish.
