Somewhat vegetal and nutty scent of more red than black berries with floral nuances, a hint of aubergine and dry herbs. Quite taut, tangy fruit with smoky, peppery-spicy and herbal aromas, some tobacco in the background, noticeable bite, fine sandy, youthful tannin, persistent, clearly mineral, a trace of roasted nuts in the background, a little coffee, very good, quite firm, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
