Nutty and somewhat vegetal aroma of ripe pomaceous fruit with citrus notes, light barrel tones and a hint of sautéed mushrooms and bacon. Ripe, juicy and rather warm fruit with smoky, slightly roasted and nutty wood flavours, fine acidity, relatively much grip of ripe tannins, buttery and caramel notes, a lot of power, but the alcohol warmth is well countered by cool herbal and mineral notes, some depth, very good, firm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
