Somewhat roasted, vegetal to tobacco and slightly peppery aroma of partly preserved, predominantly dark berries with a hint of forest floor and juniper. Ripe, juicy, firm fruit with slightly bitter-chocolatey wood flavours, hints of cocoa and some porcini mushrooms, fine tannins, good substance and persistence, a certain depth, chalky minerality, a hint of smoked salt and mocha, very good, juicy and at the same time grippy finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
