2021 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon "Lafóa®", Alto Adige, Italy

Somewhat vegetal to herbaceous, nutty and hints of bacon on the nose, yellow fruit with a hint of dried mushrooms and green berries. Polished, firm, bright fruit with a delicate sweetish melt and a hint of red berries, lively acidity, has some grip and good persistence, certain depth, lots of salt, also chalky notes, grapefruit, pine nuts, egg white and verbena in the background, gains tension with air, light oak notes, very good, increasingly taut, juicy finish with bite.
