2019 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Riserva "St. Daniel", Alto Adige, Italy

Tart, slightly dried-vegetable and a hint of smoky scent of red and a little black berries with floral nuances, a hint of pepper and hints of aubergines. Firmly knit, ripe, rather tart fruit with smoky-roasty and nutty wood flavours, some dark chocolate and a hint of tobacco, good persistence, some power and warmth, peppery nuances in the background, a little rosemary, salt in the background, very good finish with warm juice, some smoke and tart spice.
