Firm and deep, slightly smoky and a hint of dried-vegetable to tobacco aroma of blackcurrants with earthy notes, a little ethereal herbs and iodine. Tart dark fruit with nutty, smoky and peppery flavours, present, slightly sandy tannin, some acid bite, minty tones on the palate, also juniper-ethereal notes, some toastiness, some coffee grounds and bitter chocolate, persistent on the palate, still young and rather undeveloped, salty mineral tones, very good, only slightly drying finish. Needs to mature a little more.

Best to drink: 2024-2032+. What our ratings mean
