Firm, nutty and slightly smoky fragrance with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, fine herbal-vegetable flavours, some wood and rather dark spice. Ripe, juicy, warm, melting fruit, smoky and nutty wood flavours, slightly ethereal notes, on the palate also yellow spice with fennel and aniseed tones, very fine acidity, persistent on the palate, has a certain depth, grip of crumbly tannin, quite well balanced in its powerful style, very good, juicy finish, again with aniseed and fennel. Convincing.
