2008 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Patricia, Alto Adige, Italy

Slightly dissolute nose initially, but becomes more clear with aeration, slightly tart red berries, sweetish spicy oak, floral and light vegetal notes. Straightforward, partly tart red fruit on the palate, slightly smoky oak, vegetal notes, fairly fine, slightly astringent tannins, cool elements and earthy traces, not particularly deep, slightly astringent oak on an otherwise quite good finish.
