2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Riserva Trattmann, Alto Adige, Italy

Translate to English Etwas gereifter, tabakiger und holzwürziger Duft nach teils eingekochten dunklen Beeren und Zwetschgen mit etwas Bitterschokolade, getrockneten Pilzen, Waldboden und gewürzigen Tönen. Reife, relativ dunkle, schmelzige Frucht, rauchig-röstiges und tabakiges Holz, erdige Noten, präsentes, leicht trocknendes Tannin, ein wenig speckig, gute Nachhaltigkeit, zarter Säurebiss, schokoladige und nussige Aromen, sehr guter, etwas warmer, leicht eingekocht-fruchtiger und wieder auch röstiger Abgang mit gewürzigen und kräuterigen Aromen.

Editor note: Preserved red and some black berries on the nose, preserved plums, light smoky and sooty notes, prominent spicy oak. Full-bodied on the palate, prominent spicy oak, more smoky and sooty notes, ripe, even overripe fruit, fairly prominent medium-fine tannins, light acid bite, vegetal traces, sugar candy and malted notes, hint of licorice, good persistence, smoky oak, slightly tart on a very good finish. Needs time to mature.
