2022 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Riesling "Hochkofler", Alto Adige, Italy

Somewhat vegetal and a hint of smoky nose with restrained yellow fruity aromas and some root vegetables. Ripe, warm, somewhat sweetish and melting yellow fruit, a little candy on the palate, relatively moderate acidity and some grip, vegetal tones and some yellow spice, good persistence, has power, minerality in the background, very slightly muted, petrol nuances, a hint of medicinal herbs, good to very good finish.
