2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer, Alto Adige, Italy

Herbaceous nose, light floral and earthy notes, still rather closed, partly preserved citrus fruit and pears, hint of tobacco. Full-bodied and creamy on the palate, ripe, preserved sweetish fruit, some yellow spice, fairly heavy floral aromas, persistent, noticeable high alcohol, some sugar candy in the background, hint of caramel, more candied fruit on a good to very good alcoholic, creamy and spicy finish.
