2003 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva Taber, Alto Adige, Italy

Partly overripe black fruit with herbaceous notes, some bread and malt on the nose, elderberry and black tea. Fairly cool in the mouth, concentrated and full-bodied, lots of partly overripe black fruit, roasted and tart dark chocolate notes, slightly astringent tannins, creamy on the palate, not particularly deep, medium-long finish.
