2022 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Blanc "Andrius", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, somewhat tart-vegetable to herbaceous, almondy and hint of mushroom on the nose, yellow fruit, hint of gooseberries and peas. Clear, firm, juicy, rather bright fruit with a delicate melt, fine acidity, has some grip, good substance and persistence, lime, white currants, star fruit and cassis in the background, some depth, appears surprisingly cool despite the high alcohol content, salty minerality, has strength, hints of barrel wood and nutmeg, very good to long, juicy and grippy finish.
