Firmly knit, bright fruit with nuances reminiscent of marzipan and tobacco, lively acidity, has grip and some persistence, barrel wood in the background, which becomes clearer with air, hints of tomatoes and morels, chalky minerality, very good, if slightly perfumed finish.
