2006 Szekszárd Barbár, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Preserved black berries and dark cherries on the nose, roasted notes and spicy oak. Full-bodied, ripe fruit on the palate, dark roasted oak, fairly prominent, medium-fine and slightly astringent tannins, good persistence, very creamy, notes of chocolate and nougat, not particularly deep, slightly astringent oak dominates an otherwise good finish.
