2021 St. Magdalener / Santa Maddalena DOC Classico "Vigna Premstallerhof - Select", Alto Adige, Italy

Tart, quite firm, slightly herbal aroma of red and black berries with hints of cherry as well as nutty, floral and smoky traces. Straight, tart, fine-juicy, relatively dark fruit, some acid bite and fine-dusty tannin, slightly bitter on the palate, delicately sooty woody hints, dried-vegetable nuances, some salt in the background, good persistence, still undeveloped, very good, tart-juicy finish with a little dark ethereal spice. Still needs to mature.
