2017 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gries Lagrein Riserva "Select", Alto Adige, Italy

Clear, rather youthful aroma of partly preserved black berries and cherries with very light tobacco, bacon and peppery notes. Taut, tart and cool, juicy fruit with a lot of bite and fine tannins, herbaceous tones on the palate, a touch of citrus zest, good sustainability, still young, a touch of herbs, mineral hints, very good, tight finish with very fresh juice
