2013 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Riserva Select, Alto Adige, Italy

Tart nose, light dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, red and a few black berries, almonds. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, more almonds, light spicy oak, hint of cocoa in the background, fine sandy tannins, light bite, good persistence, hint of dried herbs, medium body, harmonious, already very pleasant to drink, smoky traces on a good to very good finish.
