Relatively dark, somewhat ethereal-herbal, nutty, spicy and hinted at animal scent of mixed berries with a hint of iodine and ash. Ripe, tangy fruit with some bitter-chocolatey wood notes, present tannin, some persistence, pepper and coffee beans in the background, earthy and chalky tones, good to very good finish with bite.

Editor note: Black berries and cherries on the nose, light herbaceous, earthy and nutty notes, hint of tobacco. Fairly tart, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, light spicy, herbaceous and salty notes, light acid bite, fairly fine tannins, hint of tobacco and ashes in the background, good to very good tart finish.
