2018 Toscana IGT "Do ut des", Tuscany, Italy

Firm, somewhat smoky scent of ripe black berries and black olives with slightly tobacco wood notes, a little leather, pencil and a hint of pepper. Tart, juicy, youthful, again rather tightly knit dark fruit, smoky aromas and a little dark spice, present, quite fine tannins, some bite, persistent on the palate, restrained power, good depth, salty hints in the background, relatively compact structure, multilayered, a touch of cocoa and coffee in the background, again some pepper, also herbal nuances, very good, firm, tart and spicy finish with persistence.
