Somewhat bacony, nutty and spicy aroma of predominantly dark berries and a little cherry with a hint of dried mushrooms, pepper and tomatoes. Slightly warm, tart, juicy fruit with bitter chocolate wood flavours, fine sandy tannins, a hint of citrus zest and cinnamon, good substance and persistence, a certain depth, stony minerality, hints of mocha on a very good, again slightly warm, almost a little stewed finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
