2014 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Nero Ludwig, Alto Adige, Italy

Light earth notes on the nose, leathery traces, dried vegetal and spicy notes, red and a few black berries, dried floral traces. Straightforward tart fruit on the palate, light earthy and vegetal notes, floral traces, still slightly muted by fairly moderate tannins, moderate oak in the background, good persistence, medium body, salty traces, fairly prominent earthy notes, good to very good finish.
